My Apple Scribe Printer seems to get hung up when the ribbon assembly and paper come into contact. When the printer is turned on with paper added and the ribbon put in, the carraige moves to the far left, then makes a semi-grinding sound while moving to the right a little ways, then returning to the far left. When the ribbon is off (or no paper is present), the carraige goes to the left and returns to the center as it should do normally. So when both the (could be the print head too) ribbon+print head comes into contact with the paper, problems arise. Could the print head be the main problem?
