While I was toying around with Windows 2 Software I came across a printer driver from MicrografX which can write to slide printers/cameras.
Besides NAPLPS (for which there is plenty of documentation and for which I have already written a rudimentary parser/converter to color postscript) SCODL seems to have been another popular format in those days, offering up to 4096 pixels resolution.
This driver uses the SCODL format/protocol, but I cannot find any detail information about its structure.
Obviously it was a proprietary format created by Agfa. It was used by service bureaus to create slides from user supplied data (e.g. via modem).
Does someone know of documents describing this format?
I see that "Aldus Persuasion" and "Corel Draw 2.0" have export filters/drivers for this format.
Some details from the MicroGrafX Driver:
Matrix driver MATRIX.DRV (came with Designer 2.0)
Matrix PCR and QCR models, HP LaserJet, EGA Display, and others
Matrix Vector Processor (MVP) SCODL software 3.5.
