I had two boards with the TX486DLC and TX487 and both were beeping with errors. No idea what or why. So I took this GA-386ES motherboard and tested the sets here, just booting MS-DOS 6.22 NL, running Norton's SI, running LM2 and running MSD. And that one just hanged. Does this ring a bell?
FYI: I gave a way the original 80386 to someone and had not other 386 at hand so I didn't test MSD with one.
