anyway, i was going to fill this out but i noticed there are like 500 things to fill in. i'll just stop at the personality traits part.

2 - Name = i'll give you 1 guess

4 - Age = 24 (25 in april)
5 - Screen Name = i usually go by "king crimson" on the interwebs
6 - Birthday = april 17th

8 - School/Grade = finished high school. i'm going to start going to college shortly. i probably should have gotten that out of the way already.
9 - Job = computer tech

11 - Hometown = chesterfield, mo (it's in the west county of st. louis)

14 - Siblings = 2 younger sisters. 20 year old brittani, and 17 year old cassidy
15 - Pets = the greatest dog breed ever, weimaraner! he's 14 years old now. not doing the greatest these days. he's been having bad hip problems for the last year. other than that he's still fine.

17 - Drinker = occasionally

24 - Eye color = green/brown

27 - Glasses/Contacts/None? = contacts, i can't read something even 2 feet away without them.

43 - Favorite Animal = i love both dogs and cats about the same. i love my weimaraner though so i'll go with that. (pic at the end of this post!)

Not to throw fuel on a fire, but the moderators and the site owner ('He who needs no introduction') would prefer to see less off topic posts, even in the off topic area. This is a vintage computer forum, and the off topic area is for the occasional off topic thread that spills over. It's not supposed to be a chat line.

People can fuss and fume about it if they want, but if you really want a chat line try IRC or a different web forum. Reposted stuff like this from MySpace probably warrants deletion.
 
Well I would happen to disagree, it’s a vintage computer forum filled with people, people the last time I checked are social, I would think most people like to chat about different things, and not stay on track on vintage computers like some kind of little robot. And what’s wrong with getting to know your fellow member a bit better, you might even end up being friends!
But who am I to say anything, I am just some crazy peorson as you called me!
 
You can disagree, but this is what the site owner and admin staff believe is necessary. So try to respect it. There are plenty of other alternatives out there.
 
"OMG! Helen is getting married, AGAIN!" Several years ago, I found a Yahoo website for my old High School. As Mike says, there are literally THOUSANDS AND THOUSANDS of social forums out there. With 20 tons on mindless garbage every day.

And, I recently had someone from Europe contact me about a show for people born on the exact day I was. I knew Vintage Computer was highly indexed by Google but really had no idea how HIGHLY. I immediately removed the exact birthday info from this forum. I am super aware that there is no such thing as privacy anymore but it does get a bit much. In addition to identity theft worries.

So, I am very happy with the current policy. I want jumper settings, not Helen's marital status as of today.
 
I agree with Chuck. The people here are, as you say, social. But something like this has it's place elsewhere on the internet.
 
Yes, although this IS a social site, its a site dedicated to the ramblings about vintage computers. A social in general would make this forum go from "The Vintage Computer Forums" to the "Vintage Computer Dating Serices Co."
