Tandy 1400 Expansion Box

Anyone recall anything about the above? Specifically, I'm wondering if the expansion box and the card were the same for the LT and later FD/HD models. The LT tech ref shows expansion bus pin 60 as Gnd, whereas the info available for the FD/HD lists it as 'MOTOR ON'.

I'd note the FD/HD documents also show some of the logic reversed from the LT (ENABLE, TC, AEN and IOREADY), but I question whether they would be since the LT (image scanned) guide agrees to the ISA spec more closely.

I remember seeing magical boxes, "The Tower Of Power", or something, which would expand, a Tandy 1000 HX, and give it ISA slots, and all sorts of magical powers.

Oh my GOD I drooled over that thing like it was candy.

I can't even remember the proper name for the device, .. it was in a magazine which actually sold Tandy 1000 software..

Haha.. so yeah.. read that magazine alot.
