Toshiba Maintenance (Diagnostics) Disk

Does anyone have this? Could they make an image and send me? I've got about two dozen Toshiba Satellite's to service and no easy or effective way at running diagnostics.

Are you talking about laptops right? In Compaq (I think) website, there's a lot service manuals for the Satellite's, but I don't recall any diagnostics disks.

I have had a few Toshiba laptops, and I've always found any necessary software from the Toshiba website. I haven't looked for any diagnostic software or service manuals though.

You need different programs for different laptop models. I just looked around and I'm not sure if I have a disk image, but AFAIK you can just put the programs (TEST.EXE, TEST3.EXE, CHAD, XCHAD, etc.) on a bootable disk and you'll be OK. If you can't find them on the Toshiba site, send me an e-mail or note on this thread, and I'll post what I have.

I don't know those models. The oldest Satellite I have is a 486 and doesn't need a setup disk from what I've experienced. Anyway, here is a disk for my T3100 which works, but it doesn't do much. DOS33DG.ZIP

I think the M & P series stuff is newer than ten years old.

lyonadmiral, can I infer from the original post that they all don't boot enough to get into the BIOS setup ?
