Recommend a SCSI card or will this one work?

I have a Mac SE with a 120mb after market SCSI drive. It works fine, but I'd like to connect the drive to my 'tweener' (I guess that's what they call it these days).

The only thing I found lying around was an 8 bit ISA card that linux doesn't seem to detect at all. Will the card in that link work or is there something more recommended for this?

That's a Scanner Scsi card.
Yes they are SCSI cards but they are castrated so they can only connect to your desktop scanner.
I would also recommend finding an Adaptec card.
 
If your tweener has PCI slots, an Adaptec AHA 2940 or 2920 is recognized by most software that knows how to deal with PCI (certainly Linux). Otherwise, an Adaptec AHA154x is great for 16-bit ISA. Since the 2940/2920 comes in various flavors, be sure to match the type with your Mac drive. But there should be a ton of either out there available for adoption.
 
Just be careful when picking up the SCSI card; most PC cards did not use the 25-pin (Mac style) external connection and you would need the correct adapter cable.

Some Adaptec model numbers you can look for; the first two are for ISA bus
AVA-1502 which has an external 25-pin connector only
AVA-1505 which has both a 25-pin external and an internal 50-pin in case any of your drive enclosures fail.
For PCI bus, the model number is 2906 with both a 25-pin external and an internal 50-pin.

There are a lot of Adaptec models; some other ones also would work for you.
 
There is one card I have that has an Apple SCSI port on it, Future Domain TMC-850. I'm not sure if it'll work with newer OSs but being as it's from 1991ish I would assume that it'll be supported by NT4 and more than likely Linux.
 
I'm going to go through my cards one more time but if I need to buy something I'll post here. I'd rather give you guys the business.

Someone asked why I want one? Well to at least take an image backup of the Mac SE hard drive, but I'm also hoping to use it to transfer software to it, but I haven't looked to far into that other than System 6 files are in a weird format and aren't always read right by other non apple OSes

Some ISA 16-bit FD cards also have the DB25F connector (TMC1650/1660) as well as a range of others, such as the CSC FastCache cards. ISTR something about SCSI cards that have a DB25F intended for use with scanners having a slightly different pinout from the Apple SCSI connector, but I don't recall the details.
