A pretty versatile old system – you can always take out the K6-2 and put in a much older Socket 7 CPU if you want.

  • Red Fox AGP-ALI Super Socket 7 motherboard, featuring the ALI ALADDiN M1543/1542 chipset, including:
One 25-pin serial port and one 9-pin serial port
    One 66 MHz AGP slot
    Two PCI slots
    Two ISA slots
    One shared PCI/ISA slot
    Two 72-pin SIMM sockets
    Two 168-pin DIMM sockets
    One USB port
ATX and AT power supply connectors
    BIOS ID string is 09/06/1999-ALADDIN5-2A5KKF9AC-00
  • AMD K6-2/500AFX 500 MHz CPU, with fan and heatsink
  • Two 32-MB 168-pin SDRAM DIMM modules, for a total of 64 MB RAM
  • ATI 3D Rage PCI video card, PN 109-34000-00
  • Matshita CR-587-B 24X IDE CD-ROM drive
  • Floppy drive
  • One spare 40-pin IDE cable
  • One AT-to-PS/2 keyboard adapter
  • Compact AT-style case, 12.75" x 16" x 7"
  • AT power supply

NOTES:
  • NO HARD DRIVE INCLUDED.
  • The motherboard has a header for a parallel port connector. While there is such a connector in the case, it is not connected, as one of the pins on the internal connector is blocked off. It is included merely to fill a space and has been covered with removable electrical tape.
  • There are two USB ports physically present, but the motherboard only has one USB connector onboard, so only one port is currently functional. The superfluous port has been covered with removable electrical tape.
  • The motherboard has a 5-pin header for a PS/2 mouse connector, but no such connector is included.
This system has been tested and is working. I have successfully booted Puppy Linux 2.14 from a CD-ROM.

I'd like about $75 for this, but as you can imagine, shipping this thing is a bit on the pricey side. The cheapest possible options are:
$19.50 within Canada
$46 for the US
$125 for anywhere else in the world

Or you can pick it up locally in Ottawa.
