I have been collecting vintage computers off and on for about 9 years now, also like vintage radio's and audio equipment. It was at the Huntsville hamfest that I acquired my oldest " also broken" computer, a TRS 80 Model I. My most reliable vintage sytem is a Tandy HX 1000, and I used to use my TRS 80 model 100 to take notes with in high school. Hope to get the Model I working, but that is another topic.

Very cool. The model 100 is definitely a nice machine for what it does. Welcome and feel free to expand on the model 1 issues :) BTW, you might want to update your profile with a location (or not) but you may find some others who are local or know of local groups near by.

Welcome aboard to the forums.

I've never been to a hamfest before, probably because southwest Virginians have little interest in old computers. :) Nice find, though.

What older radios do you have? A small fondness for them led me to pick up a Westinghouse 780 and a Howard "chairside" radio. Also got a few Magnavox Micromatic consoles that I listen to.

Well my favorite radio has to be my Atwater kent model 89 in a highboy style cabinet from about 1933. The Micromatics are good consoles, I got a a RCA Consolette with a piano black finish and a shiny gold grill, its a mono unit so I don't play my better stereo records on it.

Welcome to the forums. Your radio and computer collection sounds like a nice one. I also collect vintage radios too. Both radio and computers are fascinating.
