Formatting a Widget drive?

I have a Lisa 2/10 with widget and 10MB Profile. The profile has Lisa Office 7/7 version 3.1 and works. It's a little strange but that's the topic of another thread soon. The Widget originally booted up MacWorks Plus 1.0.1.8 (I think) but was like booting from the boot disk. After that portion started, the machine would reboot and keep doing this until I selected a different boot device.

I think Lisa Office 7/7 on the Profile sees the Widget because it complains about a disk and asks if I should format it. I have always said "No" because I am not really sure what disk it refers to.

I finally figured out how to make a BLU disk (you need Stuff-it 5.5 because Stuff-it 4.5 can't handle it) and using DiskCopy 4.2, I created the disk. I was able to low level format it and test it for about 45 minutes. Everything looked ok but the portion that scans the surface for errors took a while but the progress indicator never said anything but 0 (zero). It seemed to complete successfully. I later Low level formatted it again for good measure

I tried to boot up MacWorks+ 1.1h but the installer doesn't see the Widget drive (and my Profile is off). I tried to download MacWorks XL 3.0 from Mac Mothership but I couldn't get the disks to work. I do have an 800k drive.

My question: How do I format the Widget for MacWorks? Will the MacWorks installer see an unformatted Widget and do it for me or do I need to run another utility to do it? Should I allow Lisa Office 7/7 to format it first? I am a little worried it's going to format the Profile it's on because the software really doesn't tell you what it's referring to.

In another thread I asked about the Mac Mothership MacWorks XL 3.0 images not working for me. Does anyone else know where known good images exist?

Thank you.
