  • From now on we will require that a prefix is set for any items in the sales area. We have created regions and locations for this. We also require that you select a delivery option before posting your listing. This will hopefully help us streamline the things that get listed for sales here and help local people better advertise their items, especially for local only sales. New sales rules are also coming, so stay tuned.

Wanted: Epson FX-1000 9 pin printer (it's wide)

In case you change your brand & quality preference I have a Panasonic KX-P2624 wide carriage 24 pin printer with manual for sale. It's in excellent condition and has seen very little use. It does LQ as well as any inkjet printer. :)

i will have to pass, but thank you for the offer. i'm simply wanting to replace some equipment which I lost in a flood years ago. I'm just fond of that FX-1000 i once had.

Enough already!

... Do not "bump" to resurrect your thread. If it died due to lack of interest the first time then let it be. If you have something relevant to add that is fine but "bumping" is not acceptable....

Thanks,
Your moderators

Stone, I try to limit this bump to over 3 weeks or longer.. with members filtering through a lot of equipment and new members kinda being involved I think it's fine.
I truly believe that text you are quoting is in regards to standard dead discussion threads..

How do you get that from, 'If you have something relevant to add that is fine but "bumping" is not acceptable.'?

Stone, Is there a thread you don't post in? -- is there a thread where you don't try to sell a personal item in? -- is there a thread where you don't insist to be more-correct?
My earlier statement was clear. I just made 3 more.

I think if the interval between "bumps" is within reason, 3 weeks seems so, then it should be ok, as all is going on is him letting the world know he still is looking for that particular model printer. No harm there, it's what I would do to be honest with ya Stone. As much as some of the people, and items come and go, new members sign up, old ones leave, the inventory and interests can and will change that often. And it's not like he is flooding the forums with spam or anything.

Besides, when I click on the rules to read them, this is all I get.

Basically means as long as your not hurting or offending anyone, you're good to go. No I'm not a moderator or a forum admin, this is just a humble user's opinion.

Then you're obviously not reading in the right place:
