A friend of mine has been trying to repair its 5120 portable without success, in fact, while trying to desolder a cap, he burned the pads. I'm helping him; but now as there're no schematics available and I can't see the original tracks (maybe negative, that seems to be connected to adjacent Q3 transistor), I don't have the slightest idea of how to bridge the capacitor.
The cap is C2, located near of the mini-DIN rear connectors, right above capacitors C4 and C5. Has anyone a motherboard to check where's traced the positive of C2?
