If anyone has a 5150 Guide To Operations to hand I was wondering if you would mind to post the correct settings for the IBM 5150 dip switches. I've looked on three different websites (including Uncreative Labs) and they are all different...

Thanks :D

I see this:

Code:
1: Always OFF
2: OFF - math-co-processor (8087) installed, ON - math co-processor not installed
3: OFF, 4: ON - only 128K RAM installed
3: OFF, 4: OFF- 256K or more RAM installed
5: ON, 6: OFF - color monitor
5: OFF, 6: OFF - monochrome monitor
7: ON, 8 ON - single floppy drive
7: OFF, 8: ON - dual floppy drive.

1, 2, 3, 3, 5, 5, 7, 7? I think it needs one more update ;-)

Those switches are in sets, but it brings up the case that there is one display adapter setting (not for the monitor, but what the adapter type is) not shown that means it has its own BIOS extention (EGA & VGA)...

My mistake, sorry. It's late and I misread it. (Why am I still online late? Because I'm trying to figure out that darn detect-the-8088-bug procedure in the other thread :)
