Head up rear and locked - again.
Trying to get a Super serial card working on a IIgs I borrowed one from a IIe system. I played with the dip switches putting the card in the IIgs and now I can't remember what they were and when I put it back in the IIe it doesn't work correctly (doesn't communicate with the Windows system correctly). I've gone over several documents on the SSC switch settings but I'm missing something. It did work great.
Can some one be kind enough to tell me what their switch settings on a IIe are and also what the IIgs switch settings they use?
I know to make the "V" point towards terminal or modem. On the IIgs slot 2 needs to be configured as "your card" in the control panel.

The most important thing... what do you need the SSC to connect _to_ from the IIe? It should work exactly the same way in the IIgs as in the IIe, really. Also, just about all of the switch settings can be re-set via software, with the exception of printer behavior vs. modem behavior.

Well.... WHen I first started the IIe worked fine. I could make the ADTPRO transfer and hten transfer the file and it would write a disk.
I tried moving it to the IIgs and it wouldn't work. First I think it was because I didn't change the slot to "your card" for slot 2. I messed with the switches on the SSC and no luck. When I went back to the IIe it will no longer do the file transfer. It will download the prodos and then the serial client but it will not transfer the file. Has to be some sort of handshaking issue. isn't 8-N-1 correct?
