Does any one know a a reasonably priced source of punched cards in the UK. I can find old cards on Ebay but they seem to come it £50/box which means they cost as much as the reader...

I'm not aware of any sources but it's fairly easy to buy card sheets of the same thickness and density. I'm exploring the possibility of hiring a laser cutter to make a large batch, I'll make a new thread if it turns out to be viable.

How many were you able to source for £50?

I had a lot of trouble sourcing new cards myself. The solution according to the Living Computer Museum was to place an order with a local paper factory. If you don't mind the lack of printing a few thousand cards can be relatively cheap to have produced.
