Hi guys,

I bought a 512K ISA Memory board for one of my 286's, and I can't get it to work!

Does anybody know anything at all about these? Possibly the jumper configuration?

I have tried randomly selecting settings on the 6 jumper switches but all I can get it to do is interfere with the system's built in 512K.

The system in question is an NEC APC IV. I've also briefly tried it in my 5170 but am scared it will break it!

Thanks,
Bobby.

Interesting card you have there. With that name AT512/128K I would think its configurable
to backfill a 5170 AT (512K) with an additional 128K for 640K conventional memory. The remaining would then be
either extended or expanded memory.

I see another Lava card listed on TH99 here: http://www.resoo.org/docs/_hardware/th99/i/I-L/50633.htm

It's possible the switches are similar to this. I would start by setting SW1 to the off position which may allow the conventional memory to count up to
640K.
