I saw this in another thread the other day, albeit for one of the Toshiba models.
First of all there are no problems with my IBM P70 system, it works like a charm. But I've had a thought for a great while and that is to replace the internal plasma amber screen with a proper vga one. I've tried using an external VGA screen and it works, it's just not as fancy as having it internally.
Why would I want to do it? Because it's one of my favorite machines and it surely deserves such a mod.
Why not? Because the screen is working just fine as it is.
Despite the moral issues, what are the practical ones? Anyone with experience in this matter?
