Hi all!
I would like to find a home for this very early consumer laser printer; I don't want to throw it away. It's in *really good* cosmetic condition but untested by me. Great for a Mac collector and just about nobody else; I believe it is thoroughly useless without a PPC / 68k mac running OS9 or earlier. Connects to the a serial port (mini-DIN.)
If you want, you can have the hulk of a PowerMac 6100/60-AV with it. Case is junk and I've salvaged all the useful parts to save a much nicer 7200, but the motherboard and powersupply worked at least well enough to get to the startup chime before I pulled the RAM.
The catch is, you must pick up. I'm in Victoria, BC; that is on an island. I would really like to meet up someone locally as I *really* don't feel like trying to box up and ship a laser printer. There are direct ferries from Vancouver, Port Angeles, and even a seaplane from Seattle if you're feeling flush. (You can carry this in a big backpack if you want to manhandle it and avoid the car-rates on the ferry, I will happily pack it up so you can do so.)
I had this listed on Amibay but this form seems more popular in the Americas so here it is.
If you want to make me a package deal offer on a *much nicer* PowerMac 7200 + ADB keyboard + printer + monitor + 6100AV for parts, I'm all ears.
