Hi guys,
Got a question for Apple people. Is the square raised power cap seen on mid-production Apple IIs (not the first 'button like' one) the exact same cap used on the Apple II+ (but recessed down further?). Just for kicks, I took my Rev 4's power 'key' off, and tried installing the square power light from my II+. Its grooves fit the 'key stem' the power key sat on, but it doesn't sit as far down as other II's I've seen. I'm wondering if the cap itself is different or if the keystem is different somehow.
Thoughts? Or does anyone have good pictures of the raised square power cap and whatever is under it?
