I have it running on a rig that's on 24/7! It's finally up!!!! (Yes, I proofed it myself on another connection)

IP = 67.172.165.160
Port = 3784 (default port)

Client: http://ventrilo.com/download.php

Log on whenever! (I'm suspended for fighting*, so I'll be home all day till Thursday...)

...& yes, dial-up bandwidth is MORE THAN ENOUGH!!!!!(apperantly a common misconception)

*B!7CH wouldn't stop saying 5H!7 about my girlfriend!

Click the "Chat" button, & then check the "Enable TTS" box, it will enable a Microsoft Sam voice which I believe can be heard by anyone outside of chat...

I hate to be a kill joy, but that IP address you listed is also listed in 6 abuse databases. whats up with that?

What's an IP abuse database? Google search reveals links pertaining to random crap and child abuse

Its a service that allows you to backtrace an IP address to see if it is listed in an abuse database, AKA Blackhole. The one I used out of bordem shows 6 different ones list that IP address as belonging to a server that has been caught spamming or otherwise something abusive.

Handy stuff, just don't abuse it....

I don't know, we've had the same IP for like 7 years. (even back in the Kazaa days!)

EDIT: Wait, my brother's always pisses off mods in all the boards he goes to. (apperantly it runs in the family! :p) Maybe that caused it (them)...

Server's down again...

OK, now we CHANGED the router! I'd set the firewall to allow port 3784 through, but that would require restarting the router, & my brother's playing WoW & probably will be until 3AM-ish...

You know, I think that it is time that somebody objected to you using this area as a place to post status about your home servers.

If you want to post status about your home servers, put it on a web page that you host and let people read it there. Anything more than a link or an occasional reference to your home servers here is unwelcome noise.
