Hello all
Please help, i want to know how to set jumpers on Compaq prosignia 200 motherboard
On the motherboard i have unknown jumpers. Their description is not available at the cover, but they are important, they set cpu/host speed and multiplier
Now i have 233 Mgz processor but he working like 133 )

And also will be good, is setup program for this prosignia 200 and for proliant 800 + 1200
Maybe anybody know some compaq manual archive? like IBM PS/2 archives on internet.

Here are the jumper settings according to the Compaq Support Reference Library:

Prosignia 200 Jumpers.jpg

Unfortunately, it is only listing 166MHz as an option - looks like that machine only came as a 166MHz model, so they never published any other settings. Perhaps between what you have yours set for at 133MHz and this a 166, it will give you some clue...

I will look and see if I can find the setup programs for those three machines as well.

Thank's Wesley!
i will try a program but i can't see your first Attachment "30895" maybe something with forum? :(

Compaq prosignia 200 this is computer with Slot1-Pentium 2 processor but only with simm72 memory
I have 233 mgz processor here, and this is most tiny from slot1 processors

I spent too long composing my message and my session timed out, but it had already let me upload the image. I copied & pasted the test and tag and it worked for me, but apparently something was still wrong. I just corrected it, though that sounds like it isn't what you are looking for. I dug up a newer Compaq QuickFind disc set and found this for the Pentium 2 233MHz, looks like what you need, and perhaps some other useful info (I tried messing with the font to get something to space out properly, but I can't seem to get it to work...just have to look carefully):

Maintenance and Service Guide
Document Number: 312360-001

The Compaq ProSignia 200 6/233 processor board has three switches (SW1,
SW2, and SW3) used to set configuration options on your server. Switch
SW1 provides maintenance and security features. Switch SW2 is a
four-position switch used to enable the optional 100TX Network Interface
Controller upgrade module. Switch SW3 is an eight-position switch (S1 -
S8 ) that provides speed settings for your processor and memory bus.

The locations of the processor board switches SW1, SW2, SW3 are
illustrated in Figure 4-2.

Switches

SW1

SW1 provides maintenance and security features.

SW2

SW2 controls the network frequency of the optional 100 Mb/s Network
Adapter module.

SW3

SW3 provides speed settings for the processor and memory bus.

Switch positions S5, S6, S7, and S8 control the host bus speed by the
processor-to-host ratio. The equation to determine processor speed is
host bus speed multiplied by the processor-to-host ratio to equal the
processor speed.

(Host Bus Speed)* (Processor-to-Host Ratio) = Processor Speed

For example, with the host bus speed set at 66MHz, and the
processor-to-host ratio set at 7/2, the processor speed is 66.66*7/2 =
233MHz.

External Battery Jumper

Jumper header E2 on the processor board allows the selection of an
external battery. Placing the jumper on pins 6-7 selects the internal
battery. Placing the jumper on pins 5-6 selects the external battery.

Big-big plus Wesley!
This is what i need, i set up CPU now and all ok, now i must set external battarey but this is another story ;)

Excellent...glad I could help! The old Compaq service tech training and reference information still comes in handy occasionally. :) I wish that old Compaq info was available on the web somewhere...but the way it was originally distributed on CD's, I don't think there would be any real easy way to translate it to another format...

Let me know if I can try to help further.
