Upgrade IBM 1MB Short SVGA Card (FRU: 71G0650) to 2MB

Hey Guys,

So I found online that I might be able to upgrade this by piggy backing two addional NEC 424260-70 and tweaking the connections abbot... Has anyone done this on the board, and what additional capabilities did you end up with?

Does anyone have a few of these to play with? I've got a pretty good assortment of parts to trade.

I managed to mount the additional SOJ's to the board... i'm not sure on the resistor value though. I don't see any additional memory reported from the CLMODE config program.

Any thoughts?
