I bought an XT in early 2015 that came with a ProPrinter, model 4201001, which has a parallel interface. The VCF members were generous with their help in getting it checked out and running; my thanks again to all who contributed.
The other day I was perusing eBay and saw a ProPrinter 4201 serial interface for sale, so I bought it. The "NOS" package had the interface - which appears to be a plugin board or "daughter card" - and a Centronics-style cable connector in addition to the more conventional 25 DSUB receptacle on the board. No instructions, however, for setting the DIP switches.
I'm wondering if anyone has seen one of these or better yet has documentation?
