G'day all! 
Looking for some advice. I've got a few Personal DECStation 5000's. I know I can get systems that take more and easier to find ram, but I I have a passion for this model as I used one in anger for a number of years.
So. One of them I've scared up a nice R4000 cpu for it, but sadly I have only 24mb RAM in it. They have 8mb onboard and four simm slots that let you get it up to 40mb. 24mb is great for Ultrix which I'm enjoying hacking around on with some spinning rust for swap and a SCSI2SD I've configured.
Down side is NetBSD. There's just not enough ram to get it going with the current memory management and really play around with one of Felix's USB Turbo Channel adapters.
Anyone know a scrapper or source of ram for these things? I've tried a few and have been sent ram for "the wrong system..oops!" or the scrappers have later came abck to me and said "it's an old stocked item, and we don't actually seem to have any!" Ideally I'd like to buy ram rather than wreck whole machines just to get ram but will if I have to. The idea of doners always urks me slightly.
Ideas? Pointers? Constructive abuse warmly solicited!
