I'm not but this may be a rare instance where I do watch a movie in a theatre. I just rented A2 last week. Was better then I expected over all. I hear CA gets offed in the new one. I thonk in these movies they try to hard, the Avengers are always facing off with an army or horde of whatever. By the 3rd they're up against a top villain, half the universe could be destroyed. They should have dragged it out some, no? Where does it go from here?
 
I dont watch movies in the theater anymore. Too man damned idiots clapping at the screen, talking out loud, talking on their phone, leaving their ringers on, texting, texting with the key-press tone activated,... Etc.. Etc...

Way too aggravating.


An honestly at this point the whole MCU things is... Meh.
Venom looks good. Looks better than dead pool 2.

We went to see it tonight. I didn't love it nor hate it. My wife felt about the same. Son was disappointed in it.

What was their reaction to 1 and 2? The CA movies just get better. IM gets worse. Gotg 2 was awful stupid, 1 was tolerable except for the end. The DC movies aren't as good.
 
They have been marketing the hell out of this movie. Probably so much so that some people are brainwashed in to thinking it is their patriotic duty or such to see this move now. No intention of seeing it or any similar movie ever, but I'm sure it is the same as most modern movies. Loads of CGI special effects, truckloads of pointless violence, not a single drop of plot, and a script that feels like it was randomly pasted together. And who do we have to thank? Some mega-corp that would happily rip your eyeballs out if you did not look at it the way they wanted you to look at it.

So in other words: zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.
 
Yeah, CGI ruined movies. I have zero expectations for movies. But occasionally a movie like "all is lost" comes out and restores my faith in a good movie being made.

Besides Hollywood absolutely Ruined my favorite comic book character. So badly I dont think the franchise could ever recover.

I keep an eye out for indie movies, but so many are artsy fartsy with terrible cinematography.... and most dont seem to be able to make a good ending.
 
I really liked the first one. They've been going downhill since. After sleeping on it, I like the latest one even less.
 
You mean avengers movies? Ill be honest I dont care for any of them. The ones by themselves have been much better. Honestly the avengers movies, transformers, gi joe, TMNT... Shaky cam, really fake CGI, explosions... not much else...
I long for the days of a west german with an afro and his sentient talking car.
