I'm impatient and have enough raw materials, I believe, to just make a MFM cable, the 34 pin one, has a 34pin female end to a card edge female connector. I've tried googling, and whatnot, I just wondering if anyone has an online resource they could share as to how to wire this thing up. Thanks in advance!

You can simply use older FDD cable, it's the same.
It worked for me.

Let's get back to using Google for basic research before posting here. It is very easy to find the pinouts for an MFM drive cable on Google and I don't understand how the original poster missed it.

My search skills must need some work, or I wasnt using the correct terminology.

I searched for three words ( mfm cable pinout ) and the first link gave me the pinouts for the mfm hard disk cable of which you speak. That's not a sophisticated search - what did you search for, or is this not what you are looking for?
