This was originally intended to be the official magazine/publication of the 68k Mac Liberation Army but the guy in charge wasn't getting anything done... so we (a group from the 68kMLA) took the content and put it up on the web so its available; we're going to use it as more of an article-based thing than a monthly PDF publication.

send in ANYTHING! stories (not just computer related ones...), hacks, artwork, reviews.... absolutely anything.

if you wish to add someting, please send anything you think would be good for the page (and even some stuff that you might not) to ow_that_hurt(at)hotmail.com or catsdorule(at)torpedobird.com

You really can send anything in you want; basically anything vintage-computing-related will be fantastic!

or don't. that's fine too.

EDIT: please dont think this is spam, i just would like to know if anyone is interested in writing a piece for it :D as i already said, it can be about anything vintage-computer related; we don't discriminate :)

Sure, I'll try to write something about my favorite Mac database application, FoxBase +/Mac. Runs on just about any Mac system 6.0 through Classic and has some capabilities that are hard to match!

What about type-ins?

I just came up with 2 BASIC type-ins,
one which calculates problems & sends
the results to memory, the other read's
this file & draws an image.

Proves nothing, except that with a little
M/C, it's faster than an entire BASIC
program (5 seconds faster), though
there's room for improvement! ;-)

Cheers,
CP/M User.

Cool! yeah, we'll take it all. Anything about... anything. just email it to one of those addresses and we'll more than likely put it up in the magazine... you can also email me at llama at cinemafia dot net and i'll see that it makes it onto the site.

we renamed the site Wildhack (as in Montana Wildhack ) now that its not strictly 68k Mac-related anymore... you can use either of these addresses to get to the site at the moment:

http://mlagazine.no-ip.com/
or
http://wildhack.no-ip.com/

So... yes. Anything you would like to write about is excellent. Thanks!

I have an empty Macintosh LC475 case (and another complete, working LC475 w/monitor and Ethernet in the basement) which I use as a monitor stand for my 14" TV. Maybe I should take a picture and send it in the category "ways to reuse a Macintosh". :)

As a matter of fact, related to the mini-ITX thread down in the Rants department, I have considered if it is possible to put a such motherboard (VIA Eden or C3) inside this case. The original LC475 board was rather small, but if I ever succeed, I can post that story too.

:D lol that would be an interesting picture

I'm not positive, but i think you can get sent to Hell for putting a PC mobo in a 68k Mac case... might want to ask the nearest priest, though, as i'm not 100% sure
