I recently obtained an AMPRO VGA card, A60666, (the original anti-static packaging says its ID is MMX-VGA-Q-04)and I would like to find the user manual for it. I can't find anything using google. I do see newer SVGA cards, but not this one. In particular I would like to know the jumper setting options and the pinouts.

At the same time I got what seems to be an early AMPRO 386SX-based PC-104 card. Its packaging says CMX-3SX-Q-53, and the number on the board is A60697. I would love the manual for this too.

Any suggestions?

Well, after looking hard, I found a user manual for a roughly similar Ampro video card. It is the MiniModule/VGA-FP. I got the module, and all the original bits, including the complete manual. I have scanned it, and added images of the MiniModule PCB front and back. Let me know if anyone would like me to email it.

Is there a file repository here at VCF?

Hi Tony
I have an Ampro 286 little board with a 455 vga bios. I was using a module to convert the video frequency so that I can use simple vga monitors. The module needed an external 12VDC power supply. After a major voltage spike, I have lost the screen.
Many of module lines on board were burned, at least two dead ICs on 455 vga board, all smd resistors which were on video signal output way were faild.
I changed the faild parts on vga 455 and bought a monitor with multi frequency video input(cga/svga/...) aiming not to loose my time working on the module.
When I turn the device on I can hear the floppy booting and the behavior of keyboard LEDs are right and I see them as sign of a good motherboard.
I could not find other parts of 455 bios such as 82c455 chip and I still haven't the screen back.
Here my email address norin1373@yahoo.com
I would be appreciated to heve your comments.
Thanks
