Dear forum members,

as this is my first post I'd like to introduce myself... my name is Torsten and I'm living in Berlin (Germany). I'm a vintage computer enthusiast having different systems from different companies, like APPLE, Atari, BMZ MFA, HP, IBM, Sinclair,...

Actually I'm looking to find someone who can help me in getting a piece of software related to an old Apple II computer card. This card is/was called CCS 7811 - Arithmetic Processor - AP-1, running a FPU. So what I do miss is the software called CCSoft (Apple II Disc) which was shipped together with the card in the past. I'm also highly interested in getting the PROM, which was also offered by CCS (California Computer Systems) separately in the past.

So please help me in getting this these pieces...

Highly appreciate any help.

Thanks Anthony,

yes I forgot to mention the manual, well I do have this already. What I'm really missing is the shipped software and if feasible the PROM content...

Thanks for your given information

Still looking to find/get the missing software.
Isn't there anyone out there who can help me to get my hands on that?

Kind regards

Torsten

Folks... I'm still seeking to find this piece of software. I can't imaging that there is noone out there having this in his archive.
So please help me to find and get this software... as I'm actually cloning the HW card. For sure this might work without this software when using und together with Basic... but it would be nice to get this work running some other piece of software.

Wie sind dir,
There is many copies of the same information out there, photo and a manual, but I haven't been able to locate any software for it. Although there was talk, it patched applesoft, and it may only work with dos 3.3 or maybe a 48k version of P8. So far thats the best I can manage.

Thanks Anthony,

yes I know... you will find a photo as well as the documentation, but the relevant software is missing and this is what I'd like to find. I've spread this request onto a couple of forums without any success so far, while I can't believe that no one would have this software. But this person needs to find and read this request... so maybe this will happen sooner or later. I don't know.

I was presented with the suggestion of trying the software for,

An Applied Analytics uSPEED Math Co-Processor Card with an AMD AM9511A which seems very similar to the "Model 7811 Arithmetic Processor" from California Computer Systems , because this card passes the CCS 7811 Install Test, found on Page 2-3 of the Manual.

This is supposedly on Asimov, but I haven't been able to locate it.

Thanks Anthony,

interesting but same situation here as well. The software seems to be lost in space as for the CCS card. But I found some interesting information and that there where a couple of other APU cards offered these days.
